Contostavlos v Mendahun

Contostavlos v Mendahun EWHC 850 (QB) was a 2012 legal action in which N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos obtained an interim injunction preventing the publication of a "sex tape". The defendant Kieran Blackwood was the owner of the website www.rundat.co.uk. Justin Edwards (aka MC Ultra) was also a defendant in the case and did not oppose the continuation of the injunction. The judge in the case was Michael Tugendhat. The case originally appeared to be one of false privacy due to denials made by the claimant that she was not the individual who appeared in the tape. The International Forum for Responsible Media note that these denials did not form part of the case before the court. On April 24 the Fleet Street Blues blog reappeared online having reached a settlement. The blog also posted an apology for their mistake.
