ConQuest SF

ConQuest SF - Pacificon Game Expo is a four day gaming convention run by Avalon Game Conventions since 2005. It is held in late August/early September over Labor Day weekend in the San Francisco, California, area. The show, which has its roots in an earlier show called Pacificon, is moving to the Santa Clara Marriott in 2008.

History

Avalon Game Conventions began running ConQuest, renaming it to ConQuest SF, in 2005, and duel titling it to ConQuest SF/Pacificon Game Expo in 2007. Prior to that it was run for seven years by West Coast Convention Services under the name of ConQuest. WCCS took over operations of the convention that was called Pacificon, which ran on Labor Day weekends in the San Francisco bay area since the late 1970's.

* ConQuest SF/Pacificon Game Expo 2008 will be at the Santa Clara Marriott Hotel. Special guests will include: John Hill, Dave Arneson, James Ernest, Kenneth Hite, and Dana Lombardy.
* ConQuest SF/Pacificon Game Expo 2007 at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Hotel. Special guests included: Richard Borg, James Ernest, Dana Lombardy, and Rodger MacGowan, Kenneth Hite.
* ConQuest SF 2006 at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Hotel. Special guests included: Dave Arneson, James Ernest, Keith Baker, and Rodger MacGowan, Kenneth Hite.
* ConQuest SF 2005 at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Hotel. Special guests included: Peter Adkison, Phil Viverito, Chris Pramas, Nicole Lindross, Kenneth Hite.
* ConQuest 2004 at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Hotel. Special guests included: Rodger MacGowan.
