Colin Scheyen

Colin Scheyen is a Canadian filmmaker, author, and educator.
Much of his work focuses on issues of media literacy and social justice. He is the director, writer and producer of the feature film, Nuclear Hope, a documentary that explores Canada's nuclear waste issues. The film won Scheyen and his co-director Shane Smith a 2015 Rising Star Award in the Documentary Feature Competition. He is also the author of Beyond Media Literacy, a handbook for educators and community workers on how to integrate multimedia projects into their work to promote social and community engagement.
Colin lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
