Colin S Wood

Colin Spencer Wood (May 27, 1982 - Now) is an Mental health advocate , was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 1999.
In December 2, 2009 Colin launched mentalhealthsocial.com, a community for interaction between others interested in mental health, which had 2000+ members till closure.
Biography
Born in New Haven, CT, Colin have suffered with the bipolar disorder since 1999, been from one self-induced problem to another for this disease that is created by chemical imbalance in the brain.
Later life and career
In his post disorder stage, Colin did some acting, rap singing, but mainly dedicated to his community, Mental Health Social Network which had been pretty popular as platform for the people with mental health problems to shared their life with each other, towards love and sympathy.
Mental Health Social Network
It was designed to let people with mental health conditions or those interested in those conditions to connect in a comfortable online environment. It allowed people to share experiences anonymously, reach out to others with similar problems, and connect caregivers assisting loved ones facing mental health problems. The service had the same major features as Facebook and other social networks. Users can share information about themselves, post videos, upload audio or photos, and offer help. It supported e-mail style messaging, instant messaging, chat, blogging, status updates, commenting, and forums, as well as free classifieds and events. But The site was closed down and the domain name mentalhealthsocial.com was sold to Psych Central for an unknown amount on July 23rd 2010. The site had around 2,000 members at the time of closing.
