Coast to Coast Group Ltd. is an international education company that works with governments, charities and private education institutions. It was founded by Caroline Drewett in 2009.
Summer Schools
Coast to Coast Education specialise in English language teaching in residential summer schools. The schools additionally facilitate full time, international secondary education in the UK through their courses that prepare students to sit UKiset assessments.
International Campuses
The group has campuses across the United Kingdom and in Hong Kong.UK campuses are the Belmont Campus in Surrey, UK at Belmont Prep School, and Barnard Castle in Durham, UK at Barnard Castle School. The Hong Kong campus is at Harrow International School Hong Kong.
Education Style
Coast to Coast Education experiences are modelled on the English Boarding School style of education. They have a house structure and a focus on all-round character development as well as academic excellence. In addition to closely supervised English language teaching in a modern classroom environment, the education programme involves co-curricular activities. These include team sports, art and group performances as well as day trips to local cultural and historic sites designed to broaden students’ horizons.
Ecological Work
Coast to Coast Education works in partnership with the Charles Darwin Foundation, a scientific research organisation based in the Galapagos Islands.
The company’s work includes organising trips for students to involve them in island life whilst at the same time helping to solve the ecological problems facing the islands. The programme helps to fund scholarships to educate locals about their habitat and conservation.
