Caroline Drewett

Caroline Eleanor Katherine Drewett (born 18 March 1987) is a British entrepreneur, education specialist and columnist. She is the founder and director of Coast to Coast Group, an international education company that works with governments, charities and private education institutions.
Early Life
Caroline Drewett was born in London, where she spent her early childhood before moving to Bournemouth. Her father Michael Drewett was a financial journalist, writing predominantly for the Evening Standard, The Independent and the Daily Telegraph, and editing the Evening Standard’s ‘You and your money’. Her maternal grandfather is Brian Butler, a former Baptist minister in East London and a missionary in Nigeria.
Having been awarded a scholarship to Talbot Heath School, at the age of 14 she and her family moved to London where she attended Croydon High School. She studied Theology at the University of Nottingham and went on to study at for a Master of Science in Environmental Science.
International Education
Drewett founded Coast to Coast Schools in 2009, a group of summer schools that specialise in teaching English to a diverse range of students from across the world in a residential setting. The schools additionally facilitate full time, international secondary education in the UK through their courses that prepare students to sit UKiset assessments.
Starting at the Ascot, the camps now run at the Belmont Campus based at Belmont Preparatory School, the Barnard Castle Campus at Barnard Castle School and the Harrow Hong Kong Campus based at Harrow International School Hong Kong. In 2017, the company's name changed to Coast to Coast Group Ltd, to incorporate the expanding companies under Drewett’s control.
Ecological Work
Drewett works in partnership with the Charles Darwin Foundation, a scientific research organisation based in the Galapagos Islands<ref name=times/>. She is a member of the board for the .
Helping to tackle many of the ecological problems that face the Galapagos islands, her work also includes organising trips for students to help them become involved in island life. The programme helps to fund scholarships to educate locals about their habitat and conservation. Drewett was a senior advisor to the Ministry of Education, Ecuador from 2014 to 2017<ref name=times/>.
Personal Life
Caroline Drewett married Michael Strickland in 2014<ref name=times/> and has two children—Harding (b.2016) and Lily (b. 2018). She resides in Hong Kong, where Michael Strickland is a housemaster at Harrow International School Hong Kong.
