Clock tower association

Clock Tower Association is an autonomous association that provide its members a platform to polish their skills. It helps students in curricular and co-curricular activities. It interconnects the students of Faisalabad division so that senior members guide juniors not only in university but also in professional career.
History
Clock Tower Association was founded by Nisar Ahmed Rana on September 1, 2009 in HITEC University Taxila.The main objective of organization is coordination with the students and provision of support.
Awards
CTA has participated almost in every event of HITEC University. It has won numerous inter-departmental awards which we can't mention here due to its quantitiy. It has won many National awards. Some of them are:
3rd positon in National Design Build and Fly Competition(GIKI 2009)
Participation and Performance Award in NERC (NUST 2010)
Best Research Paper in APTEC(Comsats Lhr 2010)
3rd position in Wirathon (EME Olympiad 2011)
1st position at day 1 & 4th position at day 2 in Engineering Drawing competition at CEPEX 2011 COMSATS Islamabad
Best Design Award + 3rd Position in Build It (EME Olympiad 2011)
2nd position in Water Rocket competition held in HITEC University Arranged by ASME HITEC Chapter in November 2011
Competed among 54 teams and 270 participants from all over the Pakistan in AieEx11 GIKI and come in among top 5 teams

CTA;s Visual Trek: This is a project of Clock Tower Association. Its basic theme is to make a platform for all semi-professional, amateur and beginner’s level photographers studying in different Universities. It organizes training workshops in which photographers with expertise in their field and enhancement tools deliver lectures and train the beginners. It arranges photography competitions on quarterly basis believing these competition will force them to explore there talent as deep as possible to compete with other photographers. CTA's Erudware:It is a project of Clock Tower Association to promote free technical education. It conducts training workshops on popular technical as will as non-technical softwares. It has already conducted some workshops and some others are under process.

Membership
CTA is an open opportunity organization which allows everyone to get registered and be a member of this leading welfare organization. The members have to fill an application form and become a part of the organization. It also generates a contact book of all the members with their contact details, expertise and ambitions.
Election Criteria
All CTA members are open to become candidate of its executive body. Elections are conducted annually in the first week of October; all the members have the ability to choose the best and capable person for the executive body.
