Clinton Mills is the CEO and Co-Founder of Hitcents, a technology-based creative agency in Bowling Green, Kentucky specializing in web design, application development and mobile games. Biography Early years Clinton, with the help of his twin brother Chris Mills and father Ed Mills, started Hitcents in 1999 as sophomores in high school. The business was founded as an online marketing firm, but quickly expanded its services in other areas of technology. After graduation, Clinton received an Entrepreneur Scholarship to Western Kentucky University that included rent-free office space for Hitcents. He attended WKU from 2002 until 2004, when he left to focus his time on the business. 2001, at the age of 19, Clinton and his twin brother were awarded Young Entrepreneurs of the Year for the state of Kentucky. In 2007, Hitcents was ranked 191 among the 500 fastest growing companies, and the Mills were ranked fifth of the top CEOs under 30 by Inc. Magazine. Recognition Clinton is internationally recognized for his work on the hit game, "Draw a Stickman." which has earned 5 Webby awards With over 100 million games played since its launch in 2011, "Draw a Stickman" has become a global brand with several available versions. Hitcents Park Plaza Mills spearheaded a real-estate investment in downtown Bowling Green, developing a 106,000 square foot four story mixed-use wrap. In 2014, Mills took Hitcents Park Plaza opened five new restaurants on the 1st floor of the complex. Tres Molinos, Brick & Basil, Pagoda, Mariah's and 6-4-3. In September of that year, Tres-Molinos, Brick & Basil, and Pagoda were closed. Mills stated that he wanted to revamp the three restaurants to make them full service. In January 2015, the City of Bowling Green began negotiations with Bowling Green Hot Rods owner Jerry Katzoff to take over the Hitcents Park Plaza development. At the end of February, The Bowling Green Daily News reported the Mills Family Reality was in default, resulting in $2.4 million in liens against the company. The next week, the two remaining restaurants, Mariah's and 6-4-3, closed down indefinitely. Personal life Presently, Clinton resides in Bowling Green, Kentucky with his wife Emily, son Brooks, and daughter Ellie. Clinton married Emily on October 11, 2008. Their son was born on June 29, 2012. Ellie was born on December 12, 2015.
