Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine

The Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM) is a medical school in Cleveland, Ohio on the campus of the Cleveland Clinic. CCLCM is a distinct program offered through Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine that awards the M.D. degree upon completion of a 5-year research-focused program. The school was established in 2002 with a $100 million gift from Norma and Al Lerner and is a collaboration between Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University with the goal of training physician-investigators. The class size each year is 32 students, all of whom receive a full-tuition scholarship.
Location
The Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine is currently located within the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute building on the main campus of Cleveland Clinic. The school will be relocated to a new building on the Cleveland Clinic campus upon the completion of the Cleveland Clinic-Case Western Reserve University Health Education Campus, which will house CCLCM, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, and Case School of Dental Medicine in one single location.
