Clare Venema

Clare Venema (born July 31, 1992) is an Australian model, best known for placing third on the of Australia's Next Top Model.
Early life
Clare is a school student in year 11, in 2008 she was the Environment Club Leader. She has been acting and singing in school productions since the age of five. She is also a national public speaking and debating champion and has performed as part of an Improvisation squad at the fringe festival. Clare also did some limited work as a model in Adelaide and Milan. It was reported that Clare and Tahnee were both named state finalists in the 2008 Girlfriend Model Search competition, before being eliminated when it emerged that they were already signed with other agencies, she also entered the competition in 2007.
Australia's Next Top Model
Clare self described herself as a mature, educated young lady throughout the competition, and remained one of the front-runners, having 3 first call-outs and having won 3 challenges. She argued with Cassi a lot during the competition, repeatedly crying over spats with the other girl. She was criticized throughout the show as being 'prissy' and a 'clarebot' although she disputed this, claiming that she was merely more mature than the other contestants. In the final episode, Sarah Murdoch announced that Clare had won Australia's Favourite Model, winning her $5,000 thanks to Impulse.
In June 2009 it emerged that Clare had had modeling experience prior to entering the competition.
Career
During Australia's Next Top Model, Clare walked the runway for some australian designers like Alex Perry and Wayne Cooper.
