Chua Yeow Kee obtained his Karate Black Belt 6th Dan from the International Karate Organization-KyokushinkaiKan (IKOK) in Japan in 2007. He holds a National Coaching Accreditation Programme (NCAP) Theory Level 3 Certificate and Technical Level 3 Certificate. Chua Yeow Kee also holds a Standard First Aid Certificate as well as a Master Coach Certificate which was awarded to him by the Singapore Sports Council. He is also a Certified PA (People's Association) Trainer where he was presented with a "Long Service" award by the People's Association Sport Section in appreciation of his more than 10 years of dedicated service as a Karate Instructor.
Chua Yeow Kee is currently teaching Kyokushin Karate at Cheng San Community Club and Siglap Community Centre. The Cheng San Community Club Dojo was established in 1990 while the Siglap Community Centre Dojo was established in 1984. Chua Yeow Kee also teaches Kyokushin Karate at the
Experiences and objectives
Shihan Chua Yeow Kee's experiences involved organizing various local and international martial arts tournaments which were held in various parts of Singapore. He is also experienced in holding public exhibitions and demonstrations of the Art of Kyokushin Karate. Chua Yeow Kee's main purpose and objective in Kyokushin Karate is to promote the true form of the martial art throughout the whole region of Singapore and also in line with the Government's Healthy Lifestyle Campaign.
He believes that Kyokushin Karate will complement and support the Government's effort in building up a strong, rugged and self-confident healthy lifestyle society.
