Here There Be Dragons is the first book in a series by James Owen about three young men who will become legendary authors. It is fantasy and has recieved high praise.
Warner Brothers is releasing film about it that will probably premeire around 2011/2012.

Plot Summary
A man named Proffeser Siggurdson is murdered. Three men named Jack, John, and Charles gather at a university and learn of his death. Then a strange man appears and tells them to travel to an imaganary world on his ship. They learn about a book of lost places, and are told it must be destroyed. A boy named Bug stows away on their ship, and discovers himself to be a king named Artus. He learns he has to overthrow the evil Winter King.
John, Jack, and Charles journey up a tower of time and face many dangers. Then they meet the only person who can destroy the book, but he doesn't want to destroy it. They go to an island and defeat The Winter King in battle. Artus takes his place and the men return to London. It is revealed that they are J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and Charles Williams.

Style
This book includes many references to other books and stories including 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Sherlock Holmes and includes some Greek Mythology. James A. Owen wrote the story using a large quantity of material from other stories.
