Christopher B-Lynch

Christopher B-Lynch (b. 1 October 1947) is a Sierra Leone-born British obstetrician/gynaecological surgeon.
Birth
He was born as Christopher Balogun-Lynch in Freetown, Sierra Leone, the son of Prince E. and Jane A. Balogun-Lynch.
Career
B-Lynch is best known for his surgical inventions, most notably the B-Lynch Brace Suture.
He was educated at Oxford and (London) and graduated in 1973. After various appointments at St. Bartholomew's, Paris, and Oxford he became chief assistant to the Queen's gynaecologist at St. Bartholomew's from 1981 to 1983. In 1984 he was appointed consultant to the Oxford Region NHS Trust and based at Milton Keynes General Hospital.
B-lynch is Chairman of the "Myrtle Peach Fund", a charitable organisation which aims to "prevent, treat and combat cervical and ovarian cancer", which he founded in 1987.
