Abu Tommy (born October 13, 1989 in Koidu Town, Sierra Leone) is a Sierra Leone footballer who currently plays for Moldovan football club FC Sheriff Tiraspol and for the Sierra Leone national football team, known as the Leone Stars. Biography Tommy began his football career with top Sierra Leone National Premier League club Mighty Blackpool, where he was the team captain. He has represented Sierra Leone at every age group level . He signed for FC Sheriff Tiraspol, and was with the team to Turkey for a pre-season camp, in readiness for the second round of the Moldovan league season kicking-off. Abu is now playing for his second club in Europe, after he briefly featured for Swedish third tier club Motala AIF, as a result of a loan deal in 2009. |
