Christmas Abbott

Christmas Abbott (born 1981) is a nationally ranked CrossFit competitor. She is also an Olympic Lifter, motivational speaker, and has been a successful NASCAR pit crew member.
Christmas is from Lynchburg, Virginia. Throughout school she was not very interested in health or fitness. The change came about in her 20’s when she became a civilian contractor in Iraq. This is when she discovered CrossFit.
When she came back from Iraq Christmas made huge changes in her life for the better. She changed her eating habits as well as her whole lifestyle. Later on she opened her own CrossFit, CrossFit Invoke, in North Carolina where she would be the head coach and pass along her training to others.
In 2012 Christmas decided to challenge herself by changing tires for
NASCAR. She was soon signed to her first cup-level team, Michael Waltrip Racing. This happened within only months of her tire changing career.
In 2013 Christmas became a nationally ranked Olympic Lifter at the American Open. This was her first year competing there.
Some other accomplishments include becoming a CrossFit Head Quarters Trainer and becoming a Crossfit Games Affiliate Team Member.
