Jonathon Reuben

Jonathon Richard Matu Reuben (born March 10, 1993 in Townsville, Queensland) is an Indigenous Australian rugby league player currently signed by the Sydney Roosters.
Early life
Jonathon Richard Matu Reuben is the youngest of three children that were born to James Reuben & Jennifer Reuben. He played all his junior years of Rugby League at the TDJRL club, Centrals Tigers. After he spent 10 years as a junior playing for Centrals, he moved to the Western Lions for one year. He then played for the Bindal Sharks.
Canberra Raiders
Reuben made his debut for the Canberra Raiders whilst playing in the S. G. Ball Cup in 2011. The Junior Raiders enjoyed a successful year, before eventually being defeated by the Junior Bulldogs 52 - 6 in the semi-final.
Awards & Honours
Reuben had a stellar season in 2013 whilst playing for the U20's Raiders. At the end of that very season, he made the U20's Team Of The Year, and second place for All-Time Most Tries In A Season for the NYC, with 28 tries in 19 games. Also, he is 6th All-Time for the NYC with Most Career Tries.
