Christian Farioli is an Italian digital marketing expert and lecturer, consultant and keynote speaker, specialized in digital marketing strategy, PPC/SEM, SEO, display advertising, mobile marketing and web analytics, author and internet marketing coach, based in Dubai. Since 2012, he has been lecturing at the DM3 Institute, formerly known as the Digital Marketing Institute Middle East. Since 2010, he has worked as a digital marketing consultant with several local and international companies in the fields of PPC/SEM, SEO, analytics and strategy. He collaborated with the implementation of digital marketing strategy to SOP, the SIRIO OPERATING SYSTEM and handled digital marketing and International development strategy for companies in the real estate sector, both as a sales and marketing director. At the earlier stages of his career, Farioli collaborated with ORACLE, within which he won several awards, such as the ORACLE Innovation Network Award. He also won the Dale Carnegie Human Relations Award in 2002. He is Google Advertising certified and, in 2003, he started the first Google Adwords campaign for ORACLE, which became the first European company to use it. Farioli published two books, one as an author and one as an editor, in 2002 and 2013. He sees his professional philosophy well mirrored by Ralph Waldo Emerson's words “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” Education Farioli graduated in 2001 from the Politecnico di Milano, with a degree in Computer Science Engineering. His final thesis focused on the topic of “Web Usability”. His academic curriculum continues at the Dublin Business School, where he was awarded an MA in International Business Studies in 2004. In 2007, he followed Anthony Robbins’ seminar Unleash the Power Within: 2007 Peak Performance, Life Skills, NLP and Firewalk Experience. Career He began his activity as an IT and web consultant in 1994, working for non-profit organizations and transportation and mechanical industries. In 2000, he became a solution pre-sales specialist for TELECOM ITALIA S.p.A, until his move to Dublin in 2003. Here, he began his collaboration with ORACLE, which lasted until 2007 and saw him working for the company both in Ireland and Spain. While at ORACLE, Farioli dealt with customers such as FIAT, Vodafone, Generali, Ford, Telefonica and France Telecom. During his permanence with the company, he won 7 awards, including the ORACLE Innovation Network Award. In 2007, he moved to Dubai, where he began a long professional collaboration with Jamal Al Habtoor Real Estate in the role of international marketing strategy expert and Sales and Marketing Director. In 2010, in Dubai, Farioli became digital market manager for SOP, the acronym for the Italian quantum based technology SIRIO OPERATING PROCESS™. Farioli was responsible for the full, online strategy of the company worldwide. In recent years, he turned his focus towards digital marketing consultation, mentoring and teaching. As of 2010, he has been working as a freelance digital marketing consultant, specialized in Pay Per Click and Search Engine Marketing. In this position, he worked with several agencies and clients, from SME to corporates and GCC Government entities, including banks, car manufacturers, real estate, government and hospitality groups. In October 2012, he took up a lecturing position at the DM3, where he teaches digital marketing and many of its ramifications. As a keynote speaker and lecturer, he has trained more than 1000 marketing managers. Within his responsibilities at the Institute, are also the launch of events, concerts, companies and products, all functions related to his expertise in digital marketing. He has been also dedicating time to specially crafted training courses to be delivered on a regular basis in the Dubai area. Trainings Farioli holds a lecturing position at the DM3 Institute, but his involvement in the teaching and mentoring community of Dubai extends also to Informa (former IR Middle East). Mentoring Farioli has been dedicating more and more time to help managers and students to understand the true relevance of digital marketing for the development of their own business, through dedicated mentoring.
