Chief Orbiter

A Chief Orbiter is a term coined by Danny Rubenstein when he joined as a partner in Galaxy Desserts, based in Richmond, California. It is a cross disciplined, systems oriented leader who appreciates how all things are interconnected, recoginizes the power of leverage and how the subtle shifts in one area of an organization affect many others. He or she appreciates "the macro" and "the micro" and can move comfortably up and down that scale. They feel comfortable working with people in each area of a company, helping those people appreciate their importance and their impact of who they are and what they do on the team. This person also "orbits" outside the organization, effectively interfacing with a wide variety of people including, customers vendors, competitors, financial institutions, attornies, government and community organizations. This person recognizes the power of "right place, right time" and that much of what is driving what is "going on" is actually operating beyond the more obvious and measurable levels of perception.
