Chester Kamen

Chester Kamen (born in Hackney, London) is an English session guitarist and brother of Model and Singer/Songwriter Nick Kamen. He started playing guitar aged 11, and at 18, turned professional.
His first recording was with a band called, Numbers. Chester and Numbers singer, Ouida, teamed up and were discovered by Bryan Ferry who produced their self penned single entitled, "Pick Up In A Nightclub". Kamen also played with David Lloyd and Andrew Edge in Uropa Lula, in 1983.
Kamen performed on stage at Live Aid alongside David Gilmour as part of Bryan Ferry's band, and first played with Bryan on his Boys And Girls album in 1985, continuing to work with Ferry into the '90s. He joined Ferry for the 1989 tour of his Bête Noire album and was the lead guitarist on the 1994 dates of his Mamouna tour. Chester also co-wrote and co-produced some of the tracks on Bryan's Bête Noire album including the song "Seven Deadly Sins" along with Guy Pratt.
Kamen has also worked with Paul McCartney, Bob Geldof, Madonna, Robbie Williams, Seal, Massive Attack and Gabrielle.<ref name="waters" />
In 2002, when Roger Waters continued his In The Flesh Tour, Kamen was brought on board to replace Doyle Bramhall II, who had other commitments and could not commit to the tour.
Prior to joining Roger Waters on his In The Flesh World tour, Kamen has been working with Texan singer, Shea Seger.
Due to Andy Fairweather-Low being unavailable in 2008, Kamen will be replacing him on guitar duties for Roger Waters' 2008 leg of the Dark Side of the Moon Live tour.
