Chester Evans

Chester Evans was born in 1950 in Oxford. Chester is a former member of the U.S. Military national judo team. Military Chester would enlist in the Marines in 1969, and would be wounded in Vietnam in 1970. He would be a part of the 1st Marine Reconnaissance Division. He would leave the Marines having achieved the rank of Gunnery Sergeant Chester would earn the Senior Nationals, Masters Tournament 1st. Place: 1988 3rd. Place: 1989. Chester would teach Judo at the University of California Irvine until 1988. Chester currently holds a 6 degree (Godan) black belt in Judo.<ref name="bushidokarateshotokan.com"/> |
