Chelsea Hoffman

Chelsea Hoffman, born in 1983, is an American blog writer, specializing in commentary on politics, missing persons and crime topics.
Biography
Hoffman was born in Mesa, Arizona in 1983. She has lived in Alabama, California and Las Vegas, Nevada. On her website, she claims to be the cousin of Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Sonny James.
She is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Ashworth College, a distance learning college.
Career
Hoffman is a blogger on Gather.com and The Huffington Post. She also runs her own blog website, where she writes about high profile crime cases as well as cold cases of national interest. On her website, she claims to have worked with producers for the NBC television program Dateline. She also claims on the website to have assisted the mother of Satara Stratton, whose stage name is Satara Silver, following Satara's disappearance.
Her Gather News tagline reads, "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful. Hate me because I'm smarter than you."
Activism
Hoffman is an activist who currently covers topics related to atheism and liberal politics. She covered the story of teen atheist Jessica Ahlquist, who sued her high school over their illegal display of a Christian prayer.
Fiction writing
Hoffman self-publishes fiction novels under her own name under horror, fantasy and drama genres. Her fiction writing doesn't coincide with her work as a crime analyst and commentator.
