The Chartered Institute of Professional Financial Managers (CIPFM) is chartered under the laws of the United States and has its headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. The CIPFM operates in many countries, offering its qualifications through its affiliates. CIPFM provide the platform for managers to engage in continuous professional development and gain recognition for their experience and skills. Members refer to themselves as Chartered Financial Managers CFM. The vision of the CIPFM is to provide a platform for educating and certifying financial managers globally. Certifications The CIPFM qualifications are offered through its regional offices providing opportunities for managers to improve their skills level and become more relevant to their organisations. Some of the specialists fields include Chartered Fraud Manager and the Masters certificate in Financial Planning MCFP Designation Members are entitle to use the designation Associate Chartered Financial Manager ACFM and Fellow Chartered Financial Manager FCFM. Membership CIPFM membership are available to professionals through its certifications route and through exemptions to those approved by the institute as having the necessary skill and experience.
