Charpoka Blood Bank

Charpoka Blood Bank is an initiative by Project Charpoka. It is a voluntary blood donating project in Bangladesh. The Charpoka Blood Bank was inaugurated in 2016. It has the largest database of blood donors and it aimed to build 2 million blood donors database by 2020.
Background
Project Charpoka is established in 2013 by Kazi Nipu, an entrepreneur and social media influencer. He also founded Charpoka Magazine in 2014. The Charpoka Blood Bank was founded in 2016. It is a nonprofit organization in Bangladesh. The Charpoka Magazine donates a part of their earning to run Charpoka Blood Bank. Their operation is confined within Dhaka city but they supply free blood all over the country.
Camp
Charpoka Blood Bank collects blood from different groups e.g. Colleges and Public or Private Organizations, where any person can donate blood. It was the first one to start collecting blood donor via smartphone app. It has the most largest blood donor database which is accessible to everyone in Bangladesh. People who needs blood can meet blood donors anytime using their app.
Charpoka Blood Bank works with a call-for-action system to serves rare blood types. Donors with rare blood groups from every districts stay prepared to donate blood anytime.
