Charley Zaijian Qian

Charley Zaijian Qian (born in 1965) is a professor of Public Policy and Sociology and director of the Research Institute of Public Policy and Management at Nanjing Normal University in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China.
Qian graduated from the Department of Philosophy at Nanjing University 1987, earning a B. A. degree, and got his Ph. D. in sociology from Nanjing University in 2004. In November 2002, Qian participated in Asian Christian Faculty Fellowship at Payap University in Qiang Mai, Thailand. From October 2003 to September 2004, Qian studied social welfare at Aichi University of Education in Japan. He was a visiting scholar at Chung Chi College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong from June 13 to July 25 2009.
