Charles Andrews Heath

Charles Andrews Heath (1860-1949) was a Chicago businessman best known as the founder and president of Continental Seed Co.
Born in 1860, Heath was raised on the east coast, primarily in Massachusetts. He graduated from Williams College and married Jennie June Greene in 1882. The Heaths had two children, Albert and Alice Greene, born 1888 and 1892, respectively. Jennie Heath died at in 1925, but Heath continued to support his family until he died in 1949. For the 40 years following his marriage, he worked for the Dickinson Seed Company. In 1919, he split from the company and founded the Continental Seed Company.
