Centre for Drama Education (locally known as Centar za Dramski Odgoj or CDO) is an organization in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, that promotes theatre education. CDO was formed in 1997 and some of its main tasks include the furtherance and development of drama education, development of speech culture and culture of public events as well as the methodology of drama education. It also assists in education of drama teachers and promotion of cooperation with drama schools. On March 27, 1997 CDOBiH became a member of IDEA - the International Drama and Theatre Education Association. CDOBiH also publishes "Tmacaart", a magazine for drama, theatre and education. CDO is closely affiliated with the Mostar Youth Theatre. |
