Center Woods Elementary School

Center Woods Elementary School is a coeducational public elementary school in Weare, New Hampshire. It was built in 1990. Before the construction of Center Woods, students in grades Preschool-Third attended school with the town's middle school students in what was once the White Building of the Weare Middle School (demolished in 2007).
Center Woods is located near the center of Weare and contains 27 regular education classrooms. The facility also houses a cafeteria, music room, art room, and multi-purpose room that is used for sporting events as well as most town meeting events.
There are approximately 636 students currently enrolled in both the lower and upper elementary schools which offer a curriculum based upon and certified by the New Hampshire Department of Education. The elementary schools are governed by a five-member school board elected by the voters of Weare for three year terms. The school budget is presented to the town annually and voted upon by town residents for approval.
The Lower Elementary School's mascot is an eagle, voted on by the students in 1992. The school's colors are green and gold. The Upper Elementary School's mascot is a wolf.
The current principal for the Lower Elementary School is Jessica Potter and the principal for the Upper Elementary School is Shawne Hilliard, who is also the principal of the Middle School which the Upper Elementary School shares its campus with

In 2019, the school introduced a sensory garden.
