Cathy Hardin Harrison

Cathy Hardin Harrison is the current County Judge for Miller County, Arkansas. Harrison was elected to the position November 2018 defeating County Judge Roy John McNatt. Harrison was sworn in on January 1, 2019, for a four-year term. She is the first female to hold the position of County Judge in Miller County.
Harrison previously served as the county tax collector. As the tax collector, she addressed a $14 million in back taxes owed to the county in 2015. Her office was then credited with collecting $243,000 in back taxes in 2016.
She was appointed by the Arkansas Supreme Court to serve on the court's Committee on Security and Emergency Preparedness in December 2019. The term will expire on September 30, 2022.
