A businesswoman who was educated at Barnard College, she has founded InterOptica Publishing, Wanderlust Interactive, Soliloquy, and Remote Lands during her career.
Early life
Catherine graduated from Barnard College with a degree in computer science in 1984.
Career
Catherine worked as a system engineer during her early part of career.
She co-founded her first company, InterOptica Publishing, in 1989 along with Simon Winchester.
Later, she founded a software company named, Wanderlust Interactive. In the following years, Wanderlust produced games based on Pink Panther character such as The Pink Panther: Passport to Peril and The Pink Panther: Hokus Pokus Pink and were distributed in CD-ROMs form.
In 1994, her company, InterOptica, was acquired by Take Two and subsequently she became the president of Take-Two Interactive.
She is also known for founding a speech recognition company named Soliloquy.
In 2005, she co-founded travel company, Remote Lands, with her partner Jay Tindall. Remote Lands specializes in custom tailor-made trips focused on Asia. Remote Lands is active in more than sixteen countries in Asia.<ref name="auto"/>
