Cassandra Whitehead

Cassandra Jean Whitehead (born October 5, 1985) is a beauty queen from Houston, Texas, who became the first contestant to quit the reality television show America's Next Top Model.

Cassandra attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Chapter of Delta Delta Delta sorority.. In these pageants, she competed alongside future Miss Texas USAs Lauren Lanning (2006) and Magen Ellis (2007).

In 2005, Whitehead won the Miss Corpus Christi crown (a title held by Eva Longoria in 1998) and made the top 10 at Miss Texas USA 2005.

In 2007, Whitehead competed in the Miss California USA 2008 pageant under the name "Cassandra Jean", but did not place. The following year she was a judge for the Miss Newport Beach pageant.

America's Next Top Model
Whitehead was chosen to compete on the of UPN reality-television show America's Next Top Model, but quit the competition during the fourth episode.

Whitehead became emotional during the makeover episode, wherein her long, dark brown hair was cut extremely short and dyed blonde, in an attempt to create a look similar to that of actress Mia Farrow in the film '.

During the next judging round, host Tyra Banks was still not pleased with Whitehead's haircut as she wanted to make it even shorter. During their next photo shoot, Whitehead was scheduled to have another haircut, but she refused. Whitehead claimed that the producers gave her one night to consider her options, following which she decided to walk out of the competition. She also claimed that she was unhappy at the way they attempted to change her attitude. She was recently voted as one of the most memorable contestants by AOL entertainment

Cassandra made an appearance in "The Cycle 5 Reunion." She also appeared on "America's Next Top Model: Where the Girls Are" along with the contestants Bre, Sarah, Kim and Lisa. At that time, Cassandra had long red hair.
She reappeared on "America's Next top Model: Exposed" with long brown hair, much like she had before it was dyed and cut.

Other TV appearances
Credited as Cassandra Jean, she has also appeared on several shows including CSI: Miami, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Las Vegas, LINGO and Hannah Montana.

Cassandra appeared on the game show 1 vs. 100 on February 15, 2008, winning $500,000.
