Carly Guarino

Carly Guarino (born February 13, 1975) is a bass player originally from Eastchester, NY.
While attending college in Ithaca, NY in 1996, Carly started a record label called Crap Records, releasing records by I Farm and d.b.s., as well as promoting local talent. She managed and booked tours for I Farm, Anti-Flag, and Super Hi-Five. In 1997, she replaced Alvin Gibbs on bass on the UK Subs' 20th Anniversary Tour when he was unable to continue.
Carly currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. She sings & plays bass with The Broken Rocket; sings, plays bass and keyboards with The Killionaires; and works on her solo project, Sylvia Ventura.
Aside from her musical ventures, Carly works in magazine production. She launched O at Home , Oprah Winfrey's shelter magazine, and has managed production at Time Out New York magazine for over 10 years.
Carly plays a Music Man StingRay bass through a 1976 vintage Ampeg SVT head.
