Care and Concern Research Foundation

Care and Concern Research Foundation (CCRF) is a trust registered under The Indian Trust Act 1882 vide Registration No. 2 of 2004. It is also going to be registered under the Indian laws covering Foreign Contributions Regulation Act, 1976. Having felt the need for the development of skills in the interdisciplinary areas like health management, health economics, health informatics, medical sociology, health policy studies, etc., through imparting training for execution and enlisting the cooperation of individuals and other organisations, to implement its aims and objects, Care&Concern has started functioning even before it has been christened, by undertaking several health-oriented activities. The areas of service-coverage being too large and ambitious, it has started establishing partnerships with the likeminded organisations to implement together its aims and objects.
The Viveka Service Society” (VSS) is a 12-year old non-profit, voluntary service organization, registered under No. 331/91 on 31-12-1991. It is also registered under the Indian laws covering Foreign Contributions Regulation Act, 1976, vide Registration No. 010109216. The activities of the society are designed to benefit the poor, particularly the women, for it strongly believes that an ‘Empowered Woman Empowers the World.’
CCRF and VSS both are committed to developing Public Health Delivery Systems of the community, by the community and for the community. It is a fact that an activity that the community is committed to support, sustains; and it is such a form of community that we envisage and endeavour to bring into being. This Forum shall provide ample opportunities for the community to achieve this objective by establishing platforms for discussing issues of public health interest, create awareness of the outcome of the deliberations through pamphlets, booklets, seminars, symposia, meetings, adequate publicity in the print and electronic media and implement them with community participation through the parent organisations jointly and severally.
CCRF AND VSS, therefore, have embarked upon the activities that go to promote the objects of both the organisations, in true spirit of service, for the benefit of the community at large.
