CandyWare

Candyware is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek term for software released under a very relaxed license. It provides the end user with the right to use a particular program.
Description
Should the user of the product meet the author and consider the software useful, he is encouraged to buy the author a Gumball 'in return'.
History
The term was invented by Martin Bestawros after John Bristor's "Beerware" license in Pensacola, Florida on April 25, 1987. Many variations on the beerware model have been created since that time, and Candyware is one of many. It was changed from "Beer" to "Candy" since martin was in his childhood at the time. The term was invented during Martin's first Cocos2d project, the first 2D game in the history of iDevMartin.
