In 2017 it secured a $35 million Series A funding round, led by Accel, a US private equity firm. This funding round valued Callsign at more than $100m. In 2019, the company announced a partnership with Lloyds Banking Group to roll out its IDA platform across the bank's core brands.

Products
Callsign offers several proprietary capabilities.
Behavioural Swipe Authentication
Behavioural Swipe Authentication is Callsign's own authentication solution. It uses intelligence gathered from a user's phone as they swipe their screen to verify the user's identity.
Callsign Telecoms Intelligence
During an interaction or transaction, Callsign can cross-reference information provided by the user with live telecoms data. It uses this information to flag potentially fraudulent activity and prevent fraudsters from committing fraud such as account takeover. Data captured includes sim-swap, call divert, SS7 attacks and techniques to identify whether the phone has been stolen or cloned.
