The California Waterfowl Association, originally named Duck Hunters Association of California., is a non-profit organization established in 1945 and dedicated to the hunting, conservation and enhancement of California's waterfowl, their habitats and hunting heritage. The organization is hunter funded. Activities *Hunting Heritage Program- is a program operated by the association to train teens about hunting. *Elk program and habitat at Grizzly Island- They contribute to its maintenance. *The Boys Scout- receives support from the association. *California department of fish and game- has collaborated with the organization in research and preservation of the Waterfowl.
