Caleb Okereke

Caleb Somtochukwu Okereke, (born 20 September 1998) is a Nigerian novelist, Author, Poet and literary blogger.
Caleb's first Novel Safe Journey was published by Bahati Books UK in 2016
Writing career
Caleb was born in Nigeria and grew up in the city of Lagos. His poetry and short fiction stories have been published on the Kalahari Review, African Writer, Quality Poets, Teenageaye Magazine, Birmingham’s-New Black Magazine and other numerous blogs. He has also written satirical pieces for The Vanguard Newspaper and Nigeria’s Ynaija-which is ranked the third biggest blog in Nigeria.
Alongside writing, Caleb is also an editor for ‘The Nigerian Writer’ and regularly contributes to the blog. He also manages a literary club based in Lagos, Nigeria where he currently resides. The club that he manages seeks to revive literature in Nigeria, and Africa at large, and it also hosts one of Nigeria’s biggest literary evenings in Lagos. Caleb’s writing is inspired by his love for Eastern Nigeria, where currently studies as an undergraduate student.
He is currently a features' writer at BellaNaija and a writer at First Culture, an online entertainment company founded by American dancer, singer-songwriter and choreographer, Jeffrey Daniel.
