Caimeiju is a luxury real estate platform that allows international property sellers to find buyers located in China. The company also translates and submits property listings to multiple Chinese listing services.
History
Caimeiju was founded in 2008, and focused on selling property in California. As of 2017, the company has expanded to sell property from across the United States, as well as Canada, Greece, France, the Phillipines, Australia, and Fiji.
Operations
The firm provides paid listing services, hosted from within China. This ensures that they comply with local regulations, and won't be filtered out through the country's real-time content filtering. Since YouTube, and Vimeo are banned in China, the company also runs a video hosting platform licensed to broadcast within China.
In 2015, the company added paid search services in a partnership with Baidu. This provides customers access to the Chinese search engine's advertising platform, which they would not have access to otherwise without having local Chinese business licenses.
