CA Plex is a IDE developed by CA. History CA Plex was original sold as Obsydian by Synon, and later rebranded as AllFusion Plex and Advantage Plex. In concept it was derived from CA 2E (Synon). Environment CA Plex is an Architected RAD tool that combines the techniques of model-based development, patterns and code generation to accelerate the delivery and maintenance of J2SE, J2EE, .NET, and RPG business applications. It supports a variety of databases and data access APIs including Oracle, MS SQL Server, IBM DB2, ODBC, JDBC and OLE-DB. Documentation CA Plex contains an integrated help system.
