Bucketworks

Bucketworks was a non-profit organization located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It billed itself as "a health, and fitness club for the brain". It was a program of The School Factory, a non-profit organization. Bucketworks was one of the very first collaborative spaces across the US and stimulated the opening of other spaces around the world.
The School Factory was established in 2002. The Bucketworks provided creative space, exercise programs, and events designed to develop the capacity for creative and personal expression. Events may be aimed towards groups, teams, individuals, or families of all ages and interests.
Wisconsin's first BarCamp, BarCampMilwaukee, was held at Bucketworks in the Fall of 2006. It was closed in October 2017.
Facility
The facility is located just south of downtown Milwaukee. It contains an art gallery, theatre, woodshop, meeting room, cafe, dance studio, artist workshop with sewing, painting, crafting, a small business incubator, a computer lab, and a free materials library.
