Bryan Yurgelis is a writer, artist, and musician that hails from Cleveland, Ohio. He is the singer for the wilderness folk band The Winter Shakers. In 2007 the Winter Shakers released Rest Area Hymns of the Magnetic West on Cleveland based Pine Records. In October of 2008 they are set to release The Horse and the Burning Barn. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio he is also the leader of the Modern Ohio Cavalry. The Modern Ohio Cavalry is a group of artists, poets, musicians and free thinkers all representing the buckyeye state. Bryan is also known as the self proclaimed "last great American explorer". His most recent exploration was highly publicized journey retracing the steps of vanished adventurer Everett Ruess (the wilds of Southern Utah).
