Broken Electric Records

Broken Electric Records is an independent record label based in Los Angeles and Brisbane, Australia. The company was founded in 2003 by Australian composer and artist Airom Bleicher to release his project 'Broken Android' after it had been selected for promotion by the Australian National Noise Media Festival.
The label began to release other artists in 2005 and gradually grew to include musicians from Australia, Canada, Europe and the United States.

The label focuses on music that disregards musical and studio trends, emphasizing creativity and expressive execution. Genres represented among releases include progressive electronica, punk rock, shoegaze-influenced, dark wave, alternative rock/indie folk, and experimental spoken word.
