Brittana

Brittana (also known as Santittany) is the romantic relationship and friendship seen between the characters Brittany S. Pierce and Santana Lopez in the Fox television series Glee. It is a portmanteau of the first four letters of Brittany's name and the last four letters of Santana's name. Their relationship is first implied to in the Season 1 episode "Sectionals", when Brittany implies that she sleeps with Santana.
Santana and Brittany's relationship grew in "Sexy" when they told each other that they loved each other, and they were confirmed as girlfriends in "Pot o' Gold". But in "The Break Up", Santana tells Brittany that due to the distance with college they should break up before they end up hurting each other, calling it the mature thing to to, and the girls remain best friends.
Naya Rivera, who plays Santana, told Craig Ferguson on "The Late Late Show" that she is rooting for her and Brittany (Heather Morris) to end up together stating, "Long Term? My fingers are crossed for ."
Brittana is one of the more popular couples on the show with a major fan base in both the lesbian and straight communities.
