Bridgette Owens

Bridgette Renee Owens (born March 14, 1992) is a American track and field athlete who specializes in the 100-meter hurdles. Her Personal best for this event is 12.62 seconds. She was the third place finisher at the IAAF World youth Outdoor Championship in 2009. A USA Junior Silver Medalist, Pan American Junior Bronze Medalist, 100 Hurdles (2011), U.S. Olympic Trials Participant, 100 Hurdles (2012), USA Championships Participant, 100 Hurdles (2011).
She competed for Clemson University for two years accomplishing several achievements, such as finishing top three at the ACC Championship, NCAA championships. She shares the top 3 times in school history at Clemson University with Brianna Rollins. Later, she transferred to the University of Florida to finish her last two years of track and field. She reaches a personal best in the 60-meter hurdles of 7.88 seconds, ranking number 4 in the world in 2015. Owens has the school record for both, 60 (7.88) and 100 (12.73) meter hurdles.
