Brian Meyer (born August 7, 1984, Cardiff) is a Welsh footballer of both Ghanaian and Brazilian descent, currently playing for FC Joga Bonito. www.fcjogabonito.co.uk Meyer made his debut for Ely Rangers F.C at the age of 18 and established himself in the Welsh 2nd Division as a regular goalscorer, scoring 23 goals in 24 appearances for the club, of which 7 as a substitute. He moved to Baybridge FC two years later, but really made his mark for Caerau Ely with his strike rate in the 2006-7 season. Meyer went on trial at Hereford United at the end of the 2006–07 season. Despite showing an interest in signing him they were too late as Meyer had opted to play sunday football. FC Joga Bonito then signed Meyer on on a free transfer on August 1, |
