Brian Eddie Reynolds

Brian Eddie Reynolds (nicknamed Eddie) is a founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist with Creation’s Tears, a Heavy Metal Music based in Northern Ireland.<ref name="CTbiog" /><ref name="BRbiog" /><ref name="Blistering" /><ref name="IMBApathy" /><ref name="Dominion" /><ref name="Legacy" /><ref name="BmouthPoisoning" />
He has collaborated with members of some of the most established British Heavy metal acts including Lee Morris<ref name="Suicidal" /> ex Paradise Lost and female vocalist Sarah Jezebel Deva<ref name="BmouthSarah" /> ex Cradle Of Filth.
Brian Reynolds was born on 18 June 1976<ref name="BRbiog" /> and raised in Ballymena<ref name="BRbiog" />, Northern Ireland where he continues to reside today. The nickname Eddie was given to him by school friends at Cambridge House Boys' Grammar School and to this day, many perceive that to be his real name.

Apathy
Brian Reynolds was one of the earlier pioneers of the Death Metal scene in Northern Ireland<ref name="Metalireland" /><ref name="CTbiog" /><ref name="Dominion" /><ref name="IMBApathy" /> fronting the band Apathy who's "Lack Of Emotion EP" <ref name="IMBApathy" />featured in Downtown Radio presenter Johnny Hero's NI Chart during the early 1990s in the Sunday Life (The biggest-selling Northern Ireland-only Sunday newspaper).
Creation's Tears
His band,Creation’s Tears made their live debut on the 30th August 2002 in Belfast playing support to Vader, Krisiun, Decapitated and Prejudice.<ref name="CTbiog" /><ref name="Dominion" />
Brian Reynolds is also credited<ref name="MethodsLinear" /> for having written all music and lyrics on the debut Creation’s Tears album Methods To End It All which was released on 4 October 2010 and features performances / collaboration with members of two of the UK's well-known Heavy metal acts; Lee Morris ex Paradise Lost and guest female vocalist Sarah Jezebel Deva ex Cradle Of Filth.<ref name="CTbiog" /><ref name="BRbiog" /><ref name="Blistering" /><ref name="IMBApathy" /><ref name="Dominion" /><ref name="Legacy" /><ref name="BmouthPoisoning" />
Traditional Scottish & Irish Music
Brian Reynolds, who also plays the Great Highland Bagpipe formerly played in solo piping competitions and was often placed in the top 3 in Northern Ireland at Juvenile and Junior levels. As part of a pipe band, he has won the 2008 All Ireland Championships (Grade 3B), collected prizes at the Kowal Highland Gathering, been placed in the top 3 at The World Pipe Band Championships and has represented Ireland on three occasions in the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, Brittany, France. In 2008, he gave a solo bagpipe recital and solo vocal/acoustic guitar performance to a capacity crowd during a concert at The Espace Marine, Lorient headlined by Bagad de Lann-Bihoué. He was taught by acclaimed tutor Bertie Todd. He also also plays tin whistle.<ref name="BRbiog" /><ref name="BelfastTele" />
Television
On 20 September 1992, Brian Reynolds featured in the Ulster Television talent show "You're On," an offshoot of the highly successful television series "Ronan On The Road" presented by Ronan Kelly. <ref name="BRbiog" />
Soon after, Brian Reynolds would appear on television again while playing the bagpipes at a Children In Need broadcast in his home town of Ballymena.<ref name="BRbiog" />
On the 29th August 2002, BBC Newsline broadcast footage of the first ever wedding to take place at Giant's Causeway, a World Heritage Site situated in County Antrim. The BBC Newsline broadcast featured Brian Reynolds playing bagpipes while standing on one of the basalt columns during the marital ceremony.<ref name="BRbiog" />
On 3 November 2007 Sky and Freesat channel Overseas Property TV aired a programme entitled "Property Kings" about Brian Reynolds' property interests. The show was hosted by John Daly.
DJ
From 1998 until 2008, Brian Reynolds served as an entertainer for corporate and private events (primarily as a wedding DJ with a cabaret based show). In this capacity, Brian Reynolds played bagpipes at the wedding of English cricketer Peter Such.
Radio
Brian Reynolds was instrumental in setting up a college based radio station while studying Media Studies 1993-1995 at the North East Institute of Further and Higher Education in Ballymoney. The station which broadcast to the Ballymoney campus was called PiRoute Radio (a word play based upon Pirate radio and the adjacent (now demolished) Route Hospital).
Brian's charitable work includes presenting a Drive time show throughout the month of December on Radio Cracker, based in his native Ballymena. He has been involved with the station since the late 1990s.
