Pop-A-Lot

Robert Henry Hamilton known by his stage name Pop-A-Lot, is an American rapper from , VA.
He gained notoriety when his song "All We Doing" premiered in "The Rapper Files" section. He was said to have "one of the catchier hooks you’ll ever hear on a mixtape" with his Trap Anthem "Scale & My Cellphone" feat 2Pistols. He was also named "A rising star in the new music industry" and "One of the top 10 Hip Hop artist to watch in 2016".
Early life
Pop-A-Lot was born in New York City, and raised in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Growing up he listened to rappers such as EPMD and Def Squad. Pop-A-lot started rapping at 13 years old. Later forming A group with Torae.
Pop-A-Lot attended Prospect Heights High School for the first semester of his high school years, but was sent to live with his father in Miami Shores, Florida after academic issues. There he went on to attend Miami Edison High School located in the Little Haiti section of Miami for his freshman, sophomore and junior years until problems brought him to finish school at Brooklyn Frontiers High School, formerly Pacific High School.
Musical career
Pop-A-lot released his first mixtape "Summer School" on 8/16/2009, and he has been active releasing at least 2 mixtapes per yer 2009 thru 2013.
In 2012, he was featured on a song titled "Independent Ballin" feat Gucci Mane. He released "Products In My Environment" on 11/16/2013.
In 2014 Pop-A-Lot released "Matic" Produced by Zaytoven on his "CEO Of The City" the mixtape which featured OJ Da Juiceman, and Fat Trel along with Production from Will A Fool.
In 2015 he released "Public Housing Kitchens" produced by 808 Mafia and an ode to fallen Drug Kingpin Rayful Edmond "Like Ray". He also released "56 Days" the mixtape.
