Brian Richard Clark (born April 27, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Career Clark attended Stow-Munroe Falls High School in Stow, Ohio. He enrolled at Kent State University to play college baseball for the Kent State Golden Flashes, and was named a Freshman All-American by Louisville Slugger. In 2014, his junior year, he transitioned from a relief pitcher into a starting pitcher. He was named to the All-Tournament Team in the 2014 Mid-American Conference Baseball Tournament. The Chicago White Sox selected Clark in the ninth round, with the 258th overall selection, of the 2014 MLB draft. Clark played for the Great Falls Voyagers of the Rookie-level Pioneer League in 2014, going 3-4 with a 3.35 ERA in 14 games, and for the Winston-Salem Dash of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League in 2015, where he went 10-4 with a 2.33 ERA in 29 games. He spent the 2016 season with the Birmingham Barons of the Class AA Southern League, and after posting a 2.27 ERA in 31 games, was named the Barons' Pitcher of the Year. After the 2016 regular season, he played for the Glendale Desert Dogs of the Arizona Fall League. The White Sox invited Clark to spring training as a non-roster player in 2017. Clark spent 2017 with the Charlotte Knights of the Class AAA International League, going 6-1 with a 4.01 ERA. The White Sox invited Clark to spring training in 2018. He was released by the White Sox organization on April 13, 2019. On May 1, Clark signed with the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
