Brian Battersby

Brian Battersby is Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Division 2 of Pine Rivers Shire, a Local Government Area of South East Queensland, Australia.

Councillor Battersby has been a Councillor since 1976 and is currently a member of the following Council Standing Committees and Advisory Boards:

Co-ordination Committee
Corporate Operations Committee
Strategic & Planning Committee
Disaster Management Group
Councillor Battersby arranges regular community newsletters called "Battersby's Bulletin" to keep his community informed.

Councillor Battersby is involved with community groups such as Bunya Residents Association, The Hills and District Chamber of Commerce, Samford Business group. Councillor Battersby is alsop involved with sporting and recreational groups within the division such as Pine Hills Netball, Pine Hills Hockey, Pine Hills Baseball, Pine Hills Soccer and Brisbane Dirt Racing.

Brian Battersby has been married to wife Lorraine for 43 years and has two daughters, Karen and Tammy.
