Brian Andrews is the News Director  of English-language programming for Colombia's RCN Television.  RCN News in English is seen around the world Monday through Friday on RCN's International signal called TV Colombia.  It is also updated daily on www.colombianews.tv.   Brian oversees a staff of 5 that produces newscasts and stories about current events in Colombia.    Before joining RCN in 2008, Brian was a well-known anchor and investigative reporter in Miami, Florida.  For more than a decade, Brian's reports from South Florida and around the world were seen on WSVN-TV and WFOR-TV.    Prior to joining WSVN in the mid-90's, Brian was an anchor at CNN in Atlanta, presenting the network's overnight "Newsroom" program.   Brian attended Georgia State University where he studied Journalism and Political Science.   His work has been honored with an RTNDA Edward R. Murrow Award and by the Society of Professional Journalists.
