Bret Ernst is an American stand-up comedian. He was one of four comedians featured in Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days and 30 Nights - Hollywood to the Heartland, along with Ahmed Ahmed, John Caparulo, and Sebastian Maniscalco. Ernst has also appeared on the television programs Comedy Central Presents and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He grew up in Passaic, New Jersey, and is a graduate of Plantation High School in Plantation, Florida. Ernst also played college football and is a graduate of Long Island University.
He has two brothers. His oldest brother, Scott Ernst, was an established theatre actor who died at the age of 33. His youngest brother, Keith Ernst, is a stand up comedian as well.
